
Inside Sales Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Inside Sales Specialist coordinates the flow of information between SixAxis and external customers while also driving the Inside Sales process. They prospect and qualify new sales leads, work inside sales opportunities through the sales process, collaborate with members of the outside sales team, hand off leads as appropriate, close sales, process all sales orders, and answer internal and external inquiries.The successful Inside Sales Specialist will demonstrate high energy and passion in their sales activity and display a knack for efficiently coordinating communications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Makes outbound calls to current, prospective, and former customers
- Responds to inbound leads, qualifies those leads, and moves them through the sales process
- Collaborates with sales teams to produce smooth transition of new opportunities
- Researches accounts, identifies business needs and key decision makers, and determines potential product needs and cross-selling opportunities
- Coordinates communications and activities with Outside Sales team to service current customers and hand-off new potential customers
- Captures accurate and complete information to track all activity in the company Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool and expand contact database
- Determines customers’ needs and recommends appropriate products and solutions
- Follows product/supply checklist for each customer’s job, identifies sales opportunities, and sells additional products and supplies with emphasis on vendor products
- Closes sales and achieves sales goals
- Enter, update, and process sales orders, drawings, purchase orders, etc. in systems
- Plans, coordinates, and executes projects as needed
- Responds to customer or distributor questions on order status, discrepancies in billing or delivery, and determines appropriate corrective action
- Processes returned product under warranty or for needed repairs. Captures warranty information and distributes to appropriate personnel
- Other duties as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-5 years of experience with inside-sales and tele-prospecting
- High energy and passion for sales, determination and perseverance
- Demonstrated history of committing to and achieving aggressive goals
- Attention to detail, accurate, efficient
- Professional phone presence and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and project management skills
- Strong decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
- Proven ability to successfully multi-task with shifting priorities
- CRM experience is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products
- College degree a plus
